For my Coronavirus final project, I wanted to focus on what life was like for people like me who haven't been at school or work for the past year. The dystopian-like reality that we are all living in right now inspired my six images. Each of them are unconventional in their own ways, and I wanted to add a sense of weird to them-just like our lives right now. Because I have been remote learning since last March, I have probably been out of my house only four or five times, except for driving, which I never would have imagined to be an escape, only a bore. My images were taken from my perspective on how I have been living through the Coronavirus. Most of the time, it's sitting in my room, watching a teacher lecture as I stare out my window, thinking of the future when things are back to normal. Because I'm in my room so often, I decided to create a Spring Break countdown calendar, which is also featured in one of my images, and is really keeping my morale and motivation high these last two weeks before Spring Break is here. While my images were only taken in two rooms of my house, that wasn't because I was too lazy to go shoot anywhere else-it's because those are the two rooms I have spent the majority of my time in in the past year!
